Sebastian (the werewolf’s) reviews:

this book is about a rat, a mouse who is different, and a slave girl who wants to become a princess.

role models:  Despereaux is very brave and loyal. the princess in the story is very kind to everyone even if they are doing bad things to her.

good messages:  when Despereaux’s dad knows he did something wrong he apologises and asks for forgiveness the first moment he can.

violence:  one of the main characters gets there tail cut off. i would hate to have my tail cut off!
