this book is about three orphans who have to survive the vile Count Olaf who wants their fortune for himself.
role models: the three main characters are very smart. the oldest loves to invent. the middle child loves to learn. and the baby loves to bite things, which isn’t as impressive as learning and inventing but she’s a baby.
violence: there’s plenty of severe, gruesome murders and injuries.
crime: Count Olaf and vile, vile friends do some bad, bad crimes.
separation: the three main characters get separated from friends, family, and sometimes, each other.
