this book was imaginative and creative, but way too wordy. as good as the story was, it was hard to read. Tolkien went WAY too far when he starts describing things. there are also  pages of useless information that make me want to put the book down every sentence. but other than that it was a grate book.

on a scale of 1-10: 7.25

Sebastian (the werewolf’s) review:

so, this book is about a hobbit named Bilbo who goes with a group of dwarves to take back there treasure from a dragon.

role models:  Gandalf is a very wise character; and the main character, Bilbo, is very heroic.

violence:  there was some battles, and near the end of the book there’s a death. also some of the creatures seem to like certain kinds of meat so… keep that in mind… also, are you very sensitive about spiders?

language:  some miner words.

drugs:  there’s some smoking and drinking.
