this book is about a girl who’s family starts to fall apart due to her sister getting sick, her parents working all the time, and her own behavior.
kissing: the main character’s older sister and her friend talk about kissing.
violence: the main character’s brother’s leg gets caught in a trap.
crime: the main character steals nail polish from a store.
racism: due to the main character’s family’s ashen race, they have to stay in a back hotel room, a someone stops being friends with her sister, and her parents have bad jobs.
language: there’s one bad word that i wont repeat.
